Create a website that serves as a portal for our various projects:
 - the most important aspect of this project would be having enough information to make our website have meaning
-our content must be worthwhile, as well as easily presentable so that to not be passed up in the fast-paced world of the internet
-there are many simple ways to create websites using programs that have been created for just that use (an example would be using google to create website--fairly simple
-this task seems very doable and seems to be a necessary result of any project that will serve any purpose. seeing as the internet is such an incredible way of spreading the word fast and cost-effectively

produce a hard copy of our findings and/or products for educational/publicity purposes:

-fairly simple to put together, however the cost of getting it printed and distributed could turn out to be quite expensive
-our feeling is that a hard copy that you can put in front of some one gives more credibility to our project
-shows that we were actually able to work together and put together something that looks official---once again gives us more credibility as a student run project
-this task would need to be embraced by the whole class because in order to have enough content to fill a booklet, brochure, pamphlet, etc. we would need content from everyone
-would not be looked at further until we could be sure that we have enough projects that were significant enough to take the time and money to produce

Submit to social websites and spread the word via networking:
-getting our ideas out on the internet is one of the fastest and efficient ways to get the word out
-while spending time submitting to every individual networking site takes time and dedication, there are ways to sign your work up for mass distribution
-more info is readily available via google search
-telling people that can identify with you might help convince them that our cause is noteworthy
-everyone in the class has a lot of friends all around this campus and around the country, and spreading the word would probably be easier than you think
-even if this proves frivolous the high number of eyes that will be exposed to our content increases the odds that the right person will see our content

Contact the bloggers that we have documented as our sources and have them help to spread the word:
-the best tool we can utilize, which can be seen by our DISTINGUISHED PANEL OF ADVISORS, is people with similar interests as ours
-these individuals may have access to more eyes in one day than we could in a whole semester
-if we can get them to think that our proposals or projects are thoughtful and purposeful, they will be able to use their standing in the wireless community to promote our projects
-also another fairly simple thing to get done, but we will also need something with great content so that the bloggers don't scoff at us
-CONTENT IS KEY

Youtube videos or other video streaming websites:
-not so content driven
-can be done from a simpler and more lighthearted perspective, but still a good way to spread the word
-short information packed videos are a quick and fun way for us to spread the message and gain some street cred
-short videos are not that involved, all we need is a video camera, some willing participants, and some catchy writing about wireless

documentaries:
-would most likely apply to the case of the tribal village
-although other possibilities do exist
-making a long video is a lot more involved than you would expect, these projects can take weeks of filming, and then more time spent editing and making everything just right
-doable but once again funding and content would be a big issue

Create a potential for a media event that could spread the word around campus/community:
-This would likely involve previous contact with a client or audience. Once a relationship has been established, and a product has been produced, we can move toward free press.
-A press release would be the most practical step if it is local. We can target the DI, News Gazette, WPGU, as well as the three East Central Illinois broadcast networks.
-Plenty of "How To" examples are available by searching Google. If you browse a few, you can pull useful information from many without paying for any information.
-What also is useful is our personal connections we listed in our skills post. No doubt many of us have friends that work for the local media outlets that would help us get our information out.

University help for dissemination of scholarly information
-University Press Officers are responsible for publicizing professors from the University some positive press.
-If we determine this is the correct area to pursue (ie audience), we can inquire further about the steps and information they would need.

If this were a real entry, really important things would appear here.
