Self-Inventory or Skillz That Killz

I guess we should just start off with the basics.  I have a car here in Champaign that seats 8 including myself.  It's a beastly '93 Suburban or, as I have endearingly christened it, The Big Rig.

I am a junior studying mechanical engineering but unless the situation calls for me to calculate stress in materials or heat transfer, I don't think that this will come in handy.  However, I do have a knack for understanding topics that may be a little too technical for many people.  Science and I are buddies; he is invited to all my parties and I, supposedly, am going to be the best man at his wedding.

I also am enrolled in a signal processing class which may be helpful if we build some sort of inexpensive radio.  Although I may not able to contribute significantly  (it may be the forte of electrical or computer engineers), I would be able to consult with my professor if we have questions regarding the technical aspects of radio transmission.

As far as social skills and what I understand to be a knack for manipulation, I feel that I can help out.  I don't mind contacting people unfamiliar to me to lobby for their help, get some info/equipment, et cetera.

I took this class in hopes that I could acquire more skills and understanding of wireless technology.  If it is necessary to learn something new to be of assistance, I will gladly do so.

This is a test!
