This web site is the syllabus for the class "Communication Technology and Society" at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Important Announcements

  • The Final Exam Review Sheet has been posted to the Help/Handouts Page.
  • Three new blog post prompts have been posted to the Assignments page (Blog Posts #10, #11, and #12). Please select 2 out of these 3 posts to complete and submit for grading on Tues. December 15, 2009 at 6pm (one hour before the Final Exam).
  • All Extra Credit will be due at the same time (Tues. December 15, 2009 at 6pm).
  • Extra Credit blog posts will be evaluated based on the same standards as all other blog posts (see the Help/Handouts page for Writing Requirements and Grading Rubric). Extra credit will only be awarded if the blog post is evaluated as an 80 or higher.
  • The Final Review Session will be held on Sunday, December 13 from 5-7pm in 151 Everitt Lab (lecture room)

Essentials

Lectures meet in 151 Everitt Lab from 12:00-12:50 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

All discussion sections will meet in room G7 in the basement of the Foreign Languages Building (FLB)

Sections begin during week two:
AD1: 2-2:50 p.m. Thursdays
AD2: 3-3:50 p.m. Thursdays
AD3: 4-4:50 p.m. Thursdays
AD4: 5-5:50 p.m. Thursdays
AD5: 11-11:50 a.m. Fridays
