Part I.
When I was freshman in High school I got my first job. After I got my first check, my first purchase was a Kyocera cell phone. My mother told me that if I wanted a cell phone I would have to pay for it my self and that is exactly what I did.
Part II.
Economic Capital
a. the first form of economic capital is the cost of the cell phone itself, but it would allow me to stay in contact with my family not matter where I am. (advantage)
b. I broke my first cell phone which was a bad because I had no insurance. (disadvantage)
c. After ring tones became popular I downloaded them which cost more money. (disadvantage)
d. I bought a hands free set which allowed me to talk while driving, making driving while talking somewhat safe.(advantage)
Cultural Capital
a. Using my cell phone more and helped me learn how to use it more efficiently. (Advantage)
b. I also wanted new cell phone that had a mp3 player built in but the cost was high. (disadvantage)
c. after having a phone with a mp3 built in I could listen music and talk on the phone.(advantage)
d. since the phone had a dual use the battery ran down faster. (disadvantage)
Social Capital
a. I was able to stay in contact with friends. advantage
b. I was abel talk to other with a cell phone. advantage.
c. I was able to learn new tech. advantage.
d It made communication easier. advantage.
Part III.
Overall buying the cell phone was good idea and I benefited form it. I think that by buying this cell phone I was able to stay connected to family and friends, while keeping up with modern technology.
