Delegation - The designers wanted to make the laptop smaller than a desktop so that it can be mobile and easy to access on the go. They made is for people on the go such as business men. It was also made for people that can afford the laptop since its expensive. Also it was made for business tasks such as writing emails and writing reports.

Prescription - They added features such as wireless so that people have access to their emails anywhere they go. Laptops also compressed the concept of space and time because with just a laptop, they can communicate with people anytime and anywhere in the world. They also added entertainment aspects to laptop such as DVD burners, DVD players because they know the people that use the laptops are on the go and they want to take the entertainment with them. Also, laptops geared towards college students now because it helps them write papers and made they more portable to fit in their baggage. They also developed programs such as power point so that it is easier for teachers to share they information from class instead of writing it all out on the chalkboard.
