Media Policy

Max Rodriguez is an M.A. student in Communication. Rodriguez graduated magna cum laude from Queens College with a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies. At Queens College he was the General Manager of WQMC, Queens College's radio station. At the same time, he was also the Managing Editor and Opinions Editor of the school newspaper, The Knight News. In 2005, he was the recipient of a scholarship from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences for academic achievement. He has also served as a research fellow for the the public policy organization Free Press in Washington, D.C., primarily doing research on the Post Office. Max is a master's student in Speech Communication. As a graduate student, some of his research includes the early history of the Post Office, radio broadcasting, and the Federal Communications Commission.
