Wondra, Nick


Computer Science and Engineering Physics

Nick Wondra is an undergraduate student working towards degrees in both Computer Science and Engineering Physics. He joined the PACT lab team in April of 2006 and is currently working on user front-end design and wifi density visualization for the lab's web-based mapserver application.

In addition to his work with the PACT lab, Nick is currently a consultant for Fox River Systems, a small company in the Chicago suburbs that specializes in developing software solutions to collect and analyze data for test and measurement equipment. He also consults for the McHenry County College Weather Center, where he has developed Windows and web-based applications to help automate the maintenance and display of weather data.

In the world of computing, Nick's current interests center around robust web application design, especially in Macromedia Flash. Outside of computing, Nick is passionate about music. He plays trumpet, drumset and guitar, and has recently been hired as a member of the McHenry City Jazz Band.
